OUR IMPACT
Since inception, ANGSLP has impacted over 48,000 girls and 7,500 boys through its various programs.
Notable successes include the appointment of girl-advocates to chiefdom development committees
The establishment of over 60 school girl parliaments.
The documentation of over 300 rape cases followed up to court
17 successful community abandonment declarations of FGM, and
5 national policy dialogues featuring girl leaders. ANGSLP has transformed passive victims into active policy actors, reshaping the landscape of girl empowerment in Sierra Leone
To construct a national movement of educated, bold, and politically conscious girl leaders capable of challenging oppressive systems and building policy-driven gender transformation across sectors such as education, health, justice, and the environment.
ANGSLP leverages strategic partnerships with government ministries, civil society, schools, media, and international agencies, to deliver context-based programming.
It employs grassroots-to-national engagement models, institutional advocacy, mock governance systems, gender accountability frameworks, and community-based legislative outreach programs that are sustainable, scalable, and impactful.
