Founded on 16 June 2017, ANGSLP is a national, girl-centered organization dedicated to promoting and protecting the rights and dignity of girls and young women across Sierra Leone.
Initially named the Advocacy Network for Girls Sierra Leone, we evolved into a parliamentary structure following the passage of the Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment (GEWE) 30% Quota Bill.
Our work mirrors the national parliament through a legislative simulation platform, ensuring girls’ voices shape policies and governance.
Motto: Promoting the Dignity of Girls
Young girls debate policy issues in a mock parliamentary chamber in Sierra Leone.
